Term-time (38 weeks) your child can attend in accordance with the published term dates. You can request additional days during term time and extended weeks. These will be given according to available space and are not guaranteed.
Extended year (46 weeks) your child will have the same pattern of attendance throughout the extended year.
Holiday times and Bank Holidays are not charged for.
We reserve the right to alter the number of weeks that we are open for each year and will give a term’s notice if this is to change.
Fees and attendance
Fees are payable at all times throughout the year. This includes periods where the nursery is closed unexpectedly or if you choose not to send your child in, you will still be charged. For more specific situations, please refer to our policies. The same will apply to security, food and enhanced provision costs that are detailed in our funding and private rate offers.
A £50 administration charge will be applied to the account for late invoice payments.
Fees are reviewed annually. Any increase in fees may necessitate less than one term’s notice but in most cases will not be less than six weeks.
A full term’s written notice must be given if your child intends to leave our nursery or is reducing his/her sessions. This applies in all cases without exception and if less than a term’s notice is given, a term’s fees in lieu of notice will be payable. This includes children who have given a deposit and choose not to start with us. The term’s notice period include extended year weeks and starts from the beginning of a term in Autumn (September), Spring (January) and Summer (April/May).
Attendance/re-enrollment for the following academic year is automatic (until the end of Bumble Bees Rising 4’s group, unless we receive a term’s notice as above) and your child will continue from the next September in the age appropriate group.
A £275 deposit in advance is payable on accepting a nursery place. This will be deducted from your last payment, where appropriate, subject to the correct notice in writing having been according to our terms and conditions. If accepting a Nil Cost funded place, the deposit will be refunded after one full month of your child’s attendance.
When no final payment is due, or the final payment is less than the deposit, the difference will be paid by bank transfer. The deposit cannot be paid with childcare vouchers or Tax Free Childcare accounts.
All non-funded children are required to attend a minimum of two full days or four half days.
Children starting in our Bumble Bees (rising 4’s class) are expected to attend a minimum of at least four mornings a week.
Additional sessions are available, please enquire for availability. We operate this on a first come first served basis and once booked, the charge will remain on the additional sessions invoice even in the event of non-attendance. An admin fee for each booking will be added.
