  • Butterflies – Two to three year olds (rising 3’s)
  • Bumble Bees – Three to four year olds (rising 4’s and school nursery equivalent year)

Care Options

Children are required to attend a minimum of two sessions for under 2 year olds and a minimum of three sessions for over 2 year olds. This refers to the morning or afternoon sessions only.

Little Bicks Borehamwood offers kosher hot meaty lunches.

Manager – Agnes Arvai

My name is Aggie and I am delighted to be the manager of Little Bicks Gan Yisrael.

I hold a range of childcare qualifications and was working as a Primary school teacher at first, but I realised that my passion was for Early Years. I started as a nursery nurse and from that moment became hooked! 12 years on and I am still fascinated by these little people who with one smile can brighten your day in an instant!

Parent Feedback

  • My eldest son who is now 14 started Little Bicks on the first day it opened and I have been a Little Bicks parent ever since with my youngest here now.

I couldn’t think of anywhere else I would send my children to nursery …………. Everything is thought of and the children are looked after and loved by the staff like they’re their own. My son is so happy here and there isn’t anything he needs for when he is at nursery. He gets so much love, social interaction, fun, outdoor play and learning when he is here. Thank you Little Bicks!

  • We have been delighted with the care and happy family feel which Little Bicks has offered our two sons. Both have thrived and developed thanks to the nurturing care offered by Little Bicks. Our youngest, currently in Butterflies, runs in happily every morning. Looking at his development log book is a delight and testament to the brilliant staff. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Little Bicks to anyone.

  • I couldn’t be happier that my little one is going to Little Bicks, he’s not only learning through fun activities and games but he also feels safe, his big smile as soon as we approach the gate and the way he rushes to go in is the best evidence to show how much he loves it there, as a parent that is priceless. Also with all the updates and communication it really shows the care and attention they put into each child and gives me a full picture of what my little one experiences there.

  • My husband and I are absolutely delighted with Little Bicks. The care and attention all the staff give our son is truly marvellous-our son skips in every day and comes out so happy and excited about his time there. The staff are always there for us whenever we need them; we couldn’t ask for better communication.

  • We couldn’t have chosen a better nursery for our child. We love the warm, nurturing environment and how all the staff are involved in her care, regardless of which class they teach. We have watched her development with amazement and have no hesitation in sending our son to Little Bicks as well.

  • We are so glad we chose Little Bicks as the nursery for our boys. The care for them has been second to none and as parents that's all you can hope for. They have thrived in the time they have been there and have learned so much. The friendships they have made are so special and will last for many years to come!

  • Little Bicks is such a nurturing and supportive nursery setting. It feels like one big family where the care and passion is so evident in all areas, especially in the way the kids are taught and how the kids learn to engage with each other. It's a great balance between education, fun and development with a strong focus on wellbeing and feelings.

  • Little Bicks is an absolutely wonderful nursery. The seesaw app that they use to show pictures of the children's various activities is so lovely. It is clear to see that the children are happy, stimulated and learning in a really warm and caring environment. The staff are the best part of Little Bicks; they make a huge effort to build a rapport with the children, they make the kids laugh and build their confidence and they take the time to develop the children in the areas where they need support. Both my children have loved it there and as a parent, I couldn't be happier.

  • Little Bicks is a very nurturing nursery. Having had 2 children at the nursery, I have seen that the staff care about the happiness, welfare and progress of my children. They create a personal experience for each child by focussing on individual needs. This has allowed both of my children to develop important skills from a young age. We are so happy that we chose Little Bicks for our children. Thank you for everything.
